Reverse Escort Mission

In this escort mission, YOU are the NPC that needs protecting.

You are a scientist trying to retrieve important documents in the middle of a mutant outbreak! These documents can help cure the deadly disease.  You brave the dangerous mutants while your partner watches your back.

This is my second ever game jam and also the shortest jam I've ever done. The game may be a bit rough, but I think it turned out okay.

How To Play

ARROW KEYS - Move

SPACE - Dash

You are a scientist. Your partner has a gun and stays behind you to fend off the red mutants. Grab the briefcase and return to your base (marked by a red flag) before you are mauled to death by dangerous mutants. The arrow at the top of the screen will indicate where the briefcase and flag are located.

After each level, you can upgrade different stats including your health, speed, and your partner's shooting abilities. Make sure to grab money pickups along the way, so you can buy more upgrades at once. 

The mutants become faster with each level, so keep this in mind when you are upgrading. If you are overwhelmed, press SPACE to dash away from your enemies. However, dashing costs some of your cash.
