Orb-Bits
Made for GMTK Game Jam 2025
In this game, you control a little blue square. A little orb known as an "Orb-bit" orbits around you in a loop. The orb can both help and hinder you depending on the situation.
There are only four levels. I had other levels and mechanics in mind, but I didn't get around to doing them. With that said, I hope you enjoy what I made so far.
CONTROLS
- Arrow Keys - Move
- Up Arrow/Space/Z - Jump
- R = Restart Level
TUTORIAL
- Navigate to the flag at the end of the level.
- Don't touch the tiles with the red X's!
- The collectible hearts are optional. Collecting them is intended for those who want a little extra challenge. Unfortunately, collecting all the hearts doesn't do anything :(

Love this. I was worried whether the orb both hindering and helping the player would just be a gimmick but nope, you weren't kidding. very cute and addictive too :D
